InvestMonitor is an analytical tool designed to facilitate investment in Ukraine by bridging the information gap between Ukrainian businesses and international investors.
The platform provides up-to-date insights based on surveys and government open data. It helps investors assess business conditions in Ukraine while enabling Ukrainian businesses and local communities to attract capital more effectively.Invest-Monitor offers a comprehensive view of Ukraine's investment climate by visualizing the attractiveness of each region on an interactive map . To achieve this, we conduct two separate surveys: one for international investors, identifying the key factors influencing their decision-making, and another for Ukrainian businesses, evaluating local business conditions based on these criteria. The collected data is then aggregated to generate the Investment Environment Index , which reflects the investment potential of each region.
Beyond survey-based analysis, the platform provides additional publicly available government open data to offer investors a broader perspective. The combination of data visualization and in-depth analytics enables a clear and structured understanding of Ukraine's business landscape.Both Ukrainian businesses and international investors can take part in the surveys. Each group receives a tailored questionnaire: investors are asked about the information they need to make investment decisions, while businesses respond to those queries by evaluating the business climate in their regions.
Surveys are available online upon registration. Investors receive a questionnaire focused on investment priorities, risks, and barriers, while Ukrainian businesses assess infrastructure, legal frameworks, economic conditions, and other key factors influencing regional investment attractiveness.
The Investment Environment Index is based exclusively on survey responses from Ukrainian businesses and international investors. However, to provide users with a broader analytical context, the platform also offers insights based on publicly available government data, including information from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), and the data.gov.ua portal.
These additional datasets do not influence the Index calculation but serve as valuable supplementary information for investors assessing market conditions.
Basic access to key indicators and the Investment Environment Index is open to all users. However, registration is required to participate in surveys or access advanced analytics and detailed reports.
